ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2017
NOTICES OF MOTION

Six (6) motions have been received to date by the Secretary, which will be raised and discussed at the upcoming Annual General Meeting to be held Friday, 18 May 2018, at the Tuggeranong Lakeside Leisure Crèche at 7:15pm. Note the following and please raise any concerns/thoughts on the night.
- A motion has been raised to nominate LISA THORNTON as a Life Member of the Woden Valley Swim Club.
- A motion has been raised to give families who have a member holding a committee position, a 50% discount of their Woden Valley Swim Club’s Annual Membership fee. If the committee member leaves his/her committee position, the 100% annual family membership fee at will be reinstated.
- A motion has been raised to increase the Woden Valley Swim Club’s Annual Membership Fee (Annual Family Subscription which is invoiced quarterly) to a minimum of $50 per term per family.
- A motion has been raised to adopt the revised Woden Valley Swim Club Constitution, which is available for review on the Woden Valley Swim Club’s website.
- A motion has been raised to change the Woden Valley Swim Club’s Financial Year to be the year 1 July to 30 June (previously 1 April to 31 March).
- A motion has been raised to change the future dates of the Annual General Meeting to held in the month of July.
Each motion shall be deemed lost unless supported by not less than THREE QUARTERS majority of those present and entitled to vote.
