MEET REPORT : 2017 ACT Winter Development Meet #4

We had 9 amazing Sharks compete at the 2017 ACT Winter Development Meet #4 held at the AIS on Sunday, 20 August 2017. CONGRATULATIONS Jakayla, Tessa, Damian, Madeline N, Benjamin, Imogen, Cooper, Caitlin and Angela and THANKYOU Coach Beth for mentoring and supporting our team.

JAKAYLA competed in:

Girls 11yrs 100m Individual Medley, achieving 11th Place with a 0.63 second PB;
Girls 11yrs 50m Breaststroke, achieving 10th Place;
Girls 11yrs 50m Freestyle, achieving 12th Place;
Girls 11yrs 50m Backstroke, achieving 10th Place.

TESSA competed in:-

Girls 12yrs 100m Individual Medley, achieving 1st Place;
Girls 12yrs 50m Butterfly, achieving 5th Place with a 0.93 second PB;
Girls 12yrs 100m Backstroke, achieving 1st Place;
Girls 12yrs 100m Freestyle, achieving 5th Place; and
Girls 12yrs 100m Breaststroke, achieving 1st Place.

DAMIAN competed in:-

Boys 10yrs 100m Individual Medley, achieving 7th Place with a HUGE 7.12 second PB;
Boys 10yrs 50m Butterfly for the first time, achieving 4th Place;
Boys 10yrs 50m Breaststroke, achieving 7th Place;
Boys 10yrs 50m Freestyle, achieving 5th Place with a 0.78 second PB; and
Boys 10yrs 100m Breaststroke, achieving 6th Place.

MADELINE N competed in 5 events with a 100% PB Rate:-

Girls 13&O 100m Individual Medley, achieving 5th Place with a 2.58 second PB;
Girls 13&O 50m Breaststroke, achieving 4th Place with a 1.11 second PB;
Girls 13&O 50m Freestyle, achieving 4th Place with a 0.97 second PB;
Girls 13&O 50m Backstroke, achieving 1st Place with a 0.44 second PB; and
Girls 13&O 100m Butterfly for the first time, achieving 2nd Place.

BENJAMIN competed in:-

Boys 13&O 100m Backstroke, achieving 1st Place with a 1.29 second PB;
Boys 13&O 50m Breaststroke, achieving 3rd Place with a 0.07 second PB; and
Boys 13&O 50m Backstroke, achieving 4th Place.

IMOGEN competed in:-

Girls 11yrs 100m Individual Medley, achieving 7th Place;
Girls 11yrs 50m Butterfly, achieving 6th Place;
Girls 11yrs 50m Breaststroke, achieving 8th Place; and
Girls 11yrs 50m Freestyle, achieving 6th Place.

COOPER competed in:-

Boys 13&O 50m Breaststroke for the first time, achieving 4th Place;
Boys 13&O 50m Freestyle for the first time, achieving 3rd Place; and
Boys 13&O 50m Backstroke for the first time, achieving 5th Place.

CAITLIN competed in 5 events with a 100% PB Rate:-

Girls 11yrs 100m Individual Medley, achieving 5th Place with a 4.85 second PB;
Girls 11yrs 50m Butterfly, achieving 3rd Place with a 3.12 second PB;
Girls 11yrs 50m Breaststroke, achieving 9th Place with a 2.26 second PB;
Girls 11yrs 50m Freestyle, achieving 4th Place with a 0.18 second PB; and
Girls 11yrs 50m Backstroke, achieving 5th Place with a 0.86 second PB.
