Splash Back into 2020 Series Meet 12

E NTRIES • $10.00 per swimmer. These entry fees will be used to provide payments to clubs which missed out on hosting meets during 2020. • Age as at 28 November 2020 • Maximum of four (4) entries per swimmer • Entries close at 8:00pm on Tuesday 8 December 2020 • Online entries through Swim Central. • Qualifying times, where applicable, will not show in Swim Central but will be checked for compliance. • The meet is restricted to members of Swimming ACT affiliated clubs and Yass swimming club members. • Due to COVID 19 restrictions there is a limit on the number of swimmers who may enter this meet. • Meet information on the Swimming ACT website (act.swimming.org.au) from the Home Page scroll down until you reach Events then click on 12 December Splash Back into 2020 Series.

2 5 M E VENTS • A swimmer may only enter a 25m event if they have never swum a longer distance in that stroke at any meet (including club nights and school meets) where the time achieved has been recorded as an official time. Any swimmer entering a 25m event cannot enter a longer distance in that stroke at this meet. • Multi-class swimmers may enter 25m events regardless of age or other restrictions. N EW SWIMMERS New swimmers can only enter 25m events until they have achieved a time faster than 30.00 seconds for a given stroke. Once they have achieved a time faster than 30.00 seconds for the 25m of a given stroke they are permitted to enter the 50m event for that stroke. A new swimmer is a swimmer who does not have an officially recognised time (long course or short course) at the 50m distance for a given stroke
