The Club Night Age Champion awards are specifically designed to encourage participation at a club level, fostering club pride and teamwork. As well as rewarding swimmers who swim a range of events and continue to improve their performances.
Club Night Improvement points
Swimmers are provided baseline participation points with additional points based on the improvement from their previous best time from the club night series. Points are awarded based on improvements at club nights over the year. All club nights throughout the year count towards the score. There is no minimum number of attendances or swims. Age is calculated for the club calendar year – i.e. age at 31 December 2023.

Swimmers will receive at least 1 point for every swim, 2 for the first time they swim an event in the club year. A maximum of 5 points could be gained for a swim over 3 seconds faster than their last club night swim (4 improvement points plus 1 participation point). Improvement is only measured against club night swims of the same distance and stroke, not any time the event is swum at another meet.
