[slideshow_deploy id=’6640′] We had 9 Sharks compete at the 2016 NSW LC Country Championships held in Sydney over the weekend of 20 & 21 February, 2016 including Alexis, Jarrod, Jessica, Ethan, Jake, Kiara, Nicholas, Jasmine and Yaroslav.  There were many medals received and amazing PBs achieved.  Well done everyone. [slideshow_deploy id=’6435′] Six Woden Sharks travelled to SOPAC, Sydney to participate in the NSW 13-18 Years State Age Championships being held over the week of 18-23 January, 2016.  Congratulations to Jasmine, Alexis, Jarrod, Ethan, Jessica and Jake.  There were 67 Swimming Clubs being represented at the Championships and our amazing small team of 6 competitors placed Woden 25th.  Fantastic Effort!!!!  Jasmine competed in: Girls 15yo 100m Breaststroke. Woden had two sharks compete in the Pentathlon held on Sunday at the AIS, Patrick H and Yaroslav. At the Pentathlon, competitors swim in 5 events:- 50m Freestyle, Breaststroke, Butterfly and Backstroke and the 200m Individual Medley.  Both Patrick and Yaroslav achieved PBs in 4 of their 5 events.  Patrick in the 50m Breaststroke, Butterfly and Backstroke and the 200m IM, and Yaroslav in all his 50m events.  Fantastic effort Boys!
