The WVSC Sharks Gold squad member and coach, Nick Odgers, had the honour of representing Australia Australia at the World Triathlon Multisport Championships 2023.
Nick Jetted off to Ibiza, Spain, in the last week of April, ready to compete on 1 May.
The World Triathlon Multisport Championships are a major event on the triathlon calendar,
attracting elite, para and age-group athletes from around the globe to compete in various
disciplines and offering them the opportunity to showcase their skills, with the goal of taking
home the coveted title of world champion.
Nick competed against the world’s best Junior Aquathlon athletes, with a race format of two gruelling legs, a 1km swim followed by 5km run and came 15th in the World!
What an amazing achievement to be selected and a fabulous opportunity to compete at the highest level. Congratulations Nick, we are all proud of you!
