We had 8 sharks compete at the Distance meet following the Development meet on the 1st of July. It was great to see our sharks working on their endurance with the longer swims on offer! Congratulations to Amy G, Emma, Jonah, Jessica, Sophia, Jake N, Ben and Natasha for your efforts. Thank you also to Coach Jasmine for your mentoring and support, and to Coach Steve for a surprise visit!
- Amy G competed in the 800m FR, achieving 2nd place.
- Emma raced in the 400m FR, achieving 1st place.
- Jonah competed in 2 events, with 2 PB’s and a Top 10 finish in the 200m BK; and a Top 20 finish in the 400m FR.
- Jess raced in the 200m BR.
- Sophia competed in the 400m FR, finishing in the Top 10.
- Jake N competed in the 400m FR, achieving a massive PB and a Top 10 finish.
- Ben raced in the 400m FR, also achieving a PB and a Top 10 finish.
- Natasha competed in the 200m BK, finishing in the Top 10.
