We had a great turn out on Friday evening at Club Night and it was fantastic to see our new members join in on the fun, welcome Thalia, Liam, Ian and Alex. Thank you to all our Sharks who competed and helped out on the night: Jakayla, Tessa, Damian, Cooper, Emily, Patrick, Olivia, Sarah, Tyler, Elsa, Hugh, Jake N, Libby, Madeline, Ben, Imogen, Isabel, Eric, Angela, Yaroslav, Jasmine, Jessica and Kiara. Also, thank you to our little Sharks: Lillian, Ivan, Dan, Thalia’s little sister Ariella and Liam’s little sister.
CONGRATULATIONS to:
- Angela, who won the Club Night Participant Raffle prize.
- Cooper, who won the Club Captains Award.
- Cooper, who received an Upgrade ribbon for attaining the break time for 25m Freestyle, 25m Backstroke and 25m Breaststroke at Club Night.
and a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to:-
- COACH MADDIE, who was finally acknowledged and presented with her Canberra Pentathlon Girls 15&Over Age Champion SILVER MEDAL; and
- CLUB CAPTAIN BEN, who was finally acknowledged and presented with his Canberra Pentathlon Boys 15&Over Age Champion GOLD MEDAL.
A big THANK YOU to our wonderful Club Night Co-ordinators: Tomica and Stuart; Coaches Bethany, Maddie and Jasmine, Club Captains Ben and Jess, and the many members who helped with the running of the night. Also, a SPECIAL THANK YOU to the members who once again provided the amazing amount of yummy food.
Apologies for not handing out the Kippax Development and Intermediate Pointscorers certificates as previously promised. They will be handed out to members by our coaches this coming week.
