We had a huge turn out for our February 2022 club night, held on the 25th of February. Despite a very wet afternoon and evening we had 86 swimmers in the pool. There were plenty of Woden Sharks competing and we also had friends from Burley Griffin, Telopea, Vikings, Canberra and Ginninderra. We also had quite a few younger siblings of our Sharks, and a number of unregistered swimmers giving racing a go to get times for the ACT schools championships.
Thanks to our experienced swimmers for welcoming all the first timers and showing them the ropes. There were some fantastic times set and of course plenty of smiles.

It was great to see so many coaches, parents, grandparents and siblings coming along to watch and more importantly help. A huge thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who helped organise and officiate. With such a large number of swimmers we needed all hands on deck, and it was great to see a number of new parents volunteering and giving new roles a go. We can’t run these meets (and have official times) without your help and support and are very grateful to everyone who lends a hand.
