We had a fantastic turn out of 43 Sharks participating at Club Night last Friday, 22 June 2018. A big WELCOME to our new Sharks and families who attended, and to those who couldn’t make it, we missed you and hope to see you at the next one. Thank you to everyone who competed and helped out on the night.
CONGRATULATIONS to:
- Angela (Blue Squad), who won the Club Night Participant Raffle prize;
- Simon (Green Squad), who won the Club Captains Award; and
- Elise (Green Squad), who received an Upgrade ribbon for attaining the break time for 25m Breaststroke and Freestyle at Club Night
- Jeff (Bronze Squad), who received an Upgrade ribbon for attaining the break time for 25m Butterfly, Backstroke and Freestyle at Club Night; and
- Loukas (Green Squad), who received an Upgrade ribbon for attaining the break time for 25m Backstroke at Club Night.
A big THANK YOU to our wonderful Club Night Co-ordinators and especially to CAROL who organised Club Night in Steve’s absence. THANK YOU also to Coaches Bethany, Madeleine and Jasmine and the many members who helped with the running of the night and provided the amazing amount of yummy food.
And finally, it was a night of farewells to Coach Beth. Beth has been a big part of our Club for many years, initially as a swimmer and over the past number of years, an amazing coach to both the Green Squad and Blue Squad. THANK YOU BETH for your dedication to all our swimmers that have developed under your guidance, and we wish you every success in your future endeavours.
