We had 7 Sharks compete at the 2018 NSW Country Regionals held in Goulburn on Saturday and Sunday, 27 & 28 January 2018. CONGRATULATIONS and WELL DONE Liam, Jarrod, Sophia, Jake N, Libby, Ben and Imogen and THANK YOU Coach Maddie for your mentoring and support.
LIAM competed in 4 events, including:-
- Boys 10 Years 100m Butterfly for the first time achieving 4th Place;
- Boys 10 Years 50m Backstroke, achieving 10th Place;
- Boys 10 Years 100m Breaststroke, achieving 5th Place; and
- Boys 10 Years 50m Freestyle, achieving 12th Place.
JARROD competed in 1 event:-
- Men 15 & Overs 800m Freestyle, achieving a GOLD MEDAL with a PB.
SOPHIA competed in 4 events, including:-
- Girls 13 Years 200m Freestyle, achieving 3rd Place;
- Girls 13 Years 50m Butterfly, achieving 6th Place;
- Girls 13 Years 200m Individual Medley, achieving a BRONZE MEDAL; and
- Girls 14 Years & Under 800m Freestyle, achieving 1st Place.
JAKE N competed in 6 events, including
- Boys 14 Years 200m Breaststroke, achieving a GOLD MEDAL with a PB;
- Boys 14 Years 100m Backstroke, achieving a BRONZE MEDAL with a PB;
- Boys 14 Years 200m Individual Medley, achieving 6th Place with a PB;
- Boys 14 Years 50m Breaststroke, achieving a SILVER MEDAL;
- Boys 14 Years 100m Breaststroke, achieving a BRONZE MEDAL with a PB; and
- Boys 14 Years 50m Freestyle, achieving 4th Place.
LIBBY competed in 3 events, including:-
- Girls 9 Years & Under 50m Butterfly, achieving a BRONZE MEDAL;
- Girls 9 Years & Under 100m Freestyle, achieving 4th Place with a HUGE PB;
- Girls 9 Years & Under 50m Breaststroke, achieving 5th Place;
- Girls 9 Years & Under 50m Backstroke, achieving 4th Place with a PB; and
- Girls 9 Years & Under 50m Freestyle, achieving 6th Place with a PB.
BEN completed in 6 events, including:-
- Men 15 Years & Over 50m Butterfly MC, achieving a GOLD MEDAL with a PB;
- Men 15 Years & Over 50m Breaststroke MC, achieving a GOLD MEDAL;
- Men 15 Years & Over 400m Freestyle MC, achieving a GOLD MEDAL;
- Men 15 Years & Over 50m Backstroke MC, achieving a GOLD MEDAL;
- Men 15 Years & Over 50m Freestyle MC, achieving a GOLD MEDAL; and
- Men 15 Years & Over 50m Breaststroke, achieving a GOLD MEDAL.
IMOGEN competed in
- Girls 11 Years 50m Butterfly, achieving 9th Place with a PB;
- Girls 11 Years 100m Freestyle, achieving 11th Place;
- Girls 11 Years 50m Breaststroke, achieving 11th Place with a PB;
- Girls 11 Years 50m Backstroke, achieving 9th Place; and
- Girls 11 Years 50m Freestyle, achieving 12th Place with a PB.
