We had 3 Sharks compete at the Distance Meet held at CISAC on Sunday, 15 October 2017. CONGRATULATIONS and WELL DONE BEN, YAROSLAV and KURT. THANK YOU COACH JASMINE for your support throughout the meet and THANK YOU COACH STEVE for dropping in.
- YAROSLAV competed in both the Mixed 9 & Over 200m LC Breaststroke achieving 6th Place overall (fastest 11yo) with an ENORMOUS 32.23 second PB; and the Mixed 9 &Over 400m LC Freestyle for the first time achieving 7th Place overall (2nd fastest 11yo).
- KURT competed in the Mixed 9 &Over 400m LC Freestyle for the first time achieving 5th Place overall (fastest 11yo) and is the new Woden Valley Swim Club Record Holder for 11yo Boys (previously held since 9 March 2007 at 5:11.66). New Record is 5:10.81.
- BEN competed in the Mixed 11 & Over 800m LC Freestyle for the first time achieving 5th Place (2nd fastest 17yo).
