We had 16 Sharks and 1 Little Shark compete at the Development Meet held at CISAC on Sunday, 15 October 2017 including:- Tessa, Liam, Oliver, Quinn, Tyler, Elsa, Jake N, Libby, Madeline N, Alexey, Ben, Imogen, Isabel, Natasha, Rebecca, Caitlin and Ivan.
CONGRATULATIONS and WELL DONE SHARKS, you all had some fantastic swims and achieved some great results. THANK YOU COACH JASMINE for all your support and mentoring throughout the meet.
IVAN competed in 2 long course meet events for the first time:-
- Boys 8&U 25m Freestyle (Development), achieving 2nd Place; and
- Boys 8&U 25m Backstroke (Development), achieving 1st Place.
TESSA competed in 5 events with a 100% PB Rate, including:-
- Girls 11yo 50m LC Butterfly (Development), achieving 2nd Place with a HUGE 7.2 second PB;
- Girls 12yo 100m LC Backstroke (Development), achieving 3rd Place with an ENORMOUS 9.17 second PB;
- Girls 12yo 200m LC Individual Medley (Development), achieving 1st Place with an ENORMOUS 14.47 second PB;
- Girls 11yo 100m LC Freestyle (Development), achieving 3rd Place with an ENORMOUS 9.64 second PB; and
- Girls 11yo 100m LC Breaststroke (Intermediate), achieving 1st Place with a 2.44 second PB.
LIAM competed in 5 events, including:-
- Boys 10yo 50m LC Butterfly (Development), achieving 1st Place with a 3.0 second PB;
- Boys 10yo 100m LC Backstroke (Intermediate), achieving 2nd Place;
- Boys 10yo 50m LC Freestyle (Intermediate), achieving 1st Place with a 0.05 second PB;
- Boys 10yo 50m LC Breaststroke (Development), achieving 2nd Place with a 1.54 second PB; and
- Boys 10yo 100m LC Freestyle (Intermediate), achieving 2nd Place.
OLIVER competed in 3 events with a 100% PB Rate, including:-
- Boys 12yo 50m LC Freestyle (Intermediate), achieving 1st Place with a 2.91 second PB;
- Boys 12yo 50m LC Breaststroke (Development), achieving 1st Place with a HUGE 3.76 second PB; and
- Boys 12yo 50m LC Backstroke (Development), achieving 1st Place with an ENORMOUS 7.96 second PB.
QUINN competed in 3 events, including:-
- Boys 10yo 50m LC Freestyle (Development), achieving 2nd Place with a 1.8 second PB;
- Boys 10yo 100m LC Freestyle (Development) for the first time, achieving 2nd Place;
- Boys 10yo 50m LC Backstroke (Development), achieving 4th Place.
TYLER competed in 4 events, including:-
- Boys 9yo 50m LC Butterfly (Development), achieving 2nd Place with an ENORMOUS 9.72 second PB;
- Boys 9yo 50m LC Freestyle (Intermediate), achieving 3rd Place;
- Boys 9yo 50m LC Breaststroke (Intermediate), achieving 3rd Place with a HUGE 3.99 second PB; and
- Boys 9yo 50m LC Backstroke (Development), achieving 1st Place with an ENORMOUS 5.87 second PB.
ELSA competed in 5 events with a 100% PB Rate, including:-
- Girls 13&O 50m LC Butterfly (Development), achieving 6th Place with a 1.85 second PB;
- Girls 13&O 50m LC Freestyle (Development), achieving 3rd Place with a 1.9 second PB;
- Girls 13&O 50m LC Breaststroke (Development), achieving 12th Place with a HUGE 3.12 second PB;
- Girls 13&O 100m LC Freestyle (Development), achieving 5th Place with an ENORMOUS 8.02 second PB; and
- Girls 13&O 50m LC Backstroke (Development), achieving 8th Place with a 1.94 second PB.
JAKE N competed in 4 events, including;-
- Boys 13&O 50m LC Butterfly (Development), achieving 3rd Place with a 1.0 second PB;
- Boys 13&O 100m LC Backstroke (Development) for the first time, achieving 2nd Place;
- Boys 13&O 50m LC Breaststroke (Intermediate), achieving 3rd Place with a 0.11 second PB; and
- Boys 13&O 100m LC Freestyle (Intermediate), achieving 1st Place.
LIBBY competed in 4 events, including:-
- Girls 9yo 50m LC Butterfly (Development), achieving 4th Place with an ENORMOUS 7.44 second PB;
- Girls 9yo 50m LC Freestyle (Intermediate), achieving 8th Place with a 2.69 second PB;
- Girls 9yo 50m LC Breaststroke (Intermediate), achieving 5th Place; and
- Girls 9yo 50m LC Backstroke (Development), achieving 7th Place.
MADELINE N competed in 5 events with a 100% PB Rate, including:-
- Girls 13&O 50m LC Butterfly (Development), achieving 4th Place with a 1.59 second PB;
- Girls 13&O 50m LC Freestyle (Development), achieving 6th Place with a 0.79 second PB;
- Girls 13&O 50m LC Breaststroke (Development), achieving 9th Place with a 4.03 second PB;
- Girls 13&O 100m LC Freestyle (Development) for the first time, achieving 2nd Place; and
- Girls 13&O 50m LC Backstroke (Development), achieving 4th Place with a 1.18 second PB.
ALEXEY competed in 3 events, including:-
- Boys 9yo 50m LC Freestyle (Intermediate), achieving 5th Place with a 0.15 second PB;
- Boys 9yo 50m LC Breaststroke (Intermediate), achieving 4th Place with a 4.00 second PB; and
- Boys 9yo 50m LC Backstroke (Intermediate), achieving 3rd Place.
BENJAMIN competed in 3 events, including:-
- Boys 13&O 50m LC Butterfly (Intermediate), achieving 3rd Place with a 0.34 second PB;
- Boys 13&O 100m LC Backstroke (Intermediate), achieving 1st Place; and
- Boys 13&O 50m LC Breaststroke (Intermediate), achieving 4th Place.
IMOGEN competed in 4 events, including:-
- Girls 11yo 50m LC Butterfly (Development), achieving 6th Place with a 1.7 second PB;
- Girls 11yo 50m LC Freestyle (Development), achieving 12th Place;
- Girls 11yo 50m LC Breaststroke (Development), achieving 13th Place; and
- Girls 11yo 50m LC Backstroke (Development), achieving 11th Place with a 0.04 second PB.
BELLA competed in her VERY FIRST LC MEET (therefore achieving 100% PB Rate) in 5 events, including:-
- Girls 11yo 50m LC Butterfly (Development), achieving 8th Place;
- Girls 11yo 50m LC Freestyle (Development), achieving 4th Place;
- Girls 11yo 50m LC Breaststroke (Development), achieving 2nd Place;
- Girls 11yo 100m LC Freestyle (Development), achieving 1st Place; and
- Girls 11yo 50m LC 50m Backstroke (Development), achieving 7th Place.
NATASHA competed in 2 events with a 100% PB Rate, including:-
- Grils 13&O 100m LC Backstroke (Development), achieving 2nd Place with a 4.29 second PB; and
- Girls 13&O 50m LC Freestyle (Development), achieving 8th Place with a 1.05 second PB.
REBECCA competed in 4 events, including:-
- Girls 10yo 100m LC Backstroke (Development) for the first time, achieving 2nd Place;
- Girls 10yo 50m LC Freestyle (Development), achieving 15th Place with a 1.21 second PB;
- Girls 10yo 50m LC Breaststroke (Development), achieving 16th Place with a 2.21 second PB; and
- Girls 10yo 50m LC Backstroke (Development), achieving 6th Place.
CAITLIN competed in 5 events with a 100% PB Rate, including:-
- Girls 11yo 50m LC Butterfly (Development), achieving 3rd Place with a HUGE 5.63 second PB;
- Girls 11yo 50m LC Freestyle (Development), achieving 4th Place with a HUGE 4.61 second PB;
- Girls 11yo 200m LC Individual Medley (Development) for the first time, achieving 1st Place;
- Girls 11yo 50m LC Breaststroke (Development), achieving 12th Place with a HUGE 4.11 second PB; and
- Girls 11yo 50m LC Backstroke (Development), achieving 3rd Place with an ENORMOUS 9.52 second PB.
