We had 12 sharks compete at the meet held at the Queanbeyan Aquatic Center on the weekend including Emily, Patrick C, Amy, Patrick H, Brooke, Kurt, Nicholas, Jessica R, Annabella, Lilliana, Imogen and Andy. An amazing meet with so many medals received and PBs achieved.
- Emily competed in her first 100m Individual Medley and won SILVER; won SILVER in the mixed open 25m Backstroke; 4th Place in both the Girls 8 & U 50m Freestyle (PB) and 50m Breaststroke (PB); and GOLD in the Girls 8&U 50m Butterfly.
- Patrick C won GOLD in the Boys 11yo 50m Butterfly; SILVER in the Boys 11yo 100m Freestyle (PB); BRONZE in the Boys 11yo 100m Breaststroke (PB), 50m Backstroke and 50m Breaststroke; and 4th Place in the Boys 11yo 100m Individual Medley (PB) and 50m Freestyle.
- Amy won BRONZE in the Girls 10yo 50m Backstroke and 4th Place in the Girls 10yo 50m Freestyle.
- Patrick H won GOLD in the Boys 13&O 200m Freestyle, 100m Individual Medley (PB) and 50m Butterfly (PB); SILVER in the Boys 15&O 100m Freestyle and Boys 13&O 50m Freestyle.
- Brooke won GOLD in the Girls 15&O 100m Butterfly, 200m Individual Medley and 100m Freestyle; BRONZE in the Girls 13&O 200m Freestyle and 50m Freestyle (PB); and 4th place in the Girls 13&O 100m Individual Medley (PB).
- Kurt won GOLD in the Boys 10&U 100m Backstroke (PB); 100M Freestyle (PB), 100m Breaststroke (PB), Boys 9yo 100m Individual Medley (PB), 50m Backstroke (PB), 50m Freestyle (PB) and 50m Butterfly (PB), achieving a 100% PB rate for the meet.
- Nicholas won GOLD in the Boys 11yo 100m Backstroke, 200m Individual Medley (PB), 100m Freestyle (PB), 100m Breaststroke (PB), 100m Individual Medley (PB), 50m Backstroke (PB); SILVER in the Boys 11yo 50m Freestyle (PB) and 50m Breaststroke (PB).
- Jessica R competed in her first competition meet competing in the Girls 12yo 50m Backstroke, 50m Freestyle, 50m Breaststroke and 50m Butterfly.
- Annabella competed in her first 100m Individual Medley; placed 4th in the Girls 12yo 50m Backstroke (PB) and achieved a PB in her 50m Freestyle, 50m Breaststroke and 50m Butterfly achieving a 100% PB rate for the meet.
- Lilliana competed in her first 50m Backstroke, 50m Freestyle and 50m Breaststroke and achieved a PB in the Mixed Open 25m Butterfly.
- Imogen competed in her first 100m Individual Medley and won GOLD; won GOLD in the Girls 9yo 50m Butterfly; SILVER in the Girls 9yo 50m Backstroke and 50m Freestyle; and BRONZE in the Girls 9yo 50m Breaststroke (PB).
- Andy competed in his first 100m Individual Medley and won BRONZE; 4th Place in the Boys 12yo 50m Butterfly and achieved a PB in the Boys 12yo 50m Breaststroke.
Congratulations also to our Mixed Open 200m Medley Relay team made up of Nicholas, Griffin (who helped us out from Cruiz Swim Club), Patrick C and Kurt who won SILVER; our Mixed Open 200m Freestyle Relay team made up of Kurt, Andy, Patrick C and Nicholas; and our Mixed Open 200m Breaststroke/Butterfly Relay team made up of Nicholas, Kurt, Patrick C and Andy.
