MEET REPORT : NSW Regional Meet Wagga Wagga

Ben and Imogen with Olympian Geoff HuegillWe had two sharks, Ben and Imogen, compete at the NSW Country Regional Meet held in Wagga Wagga over the weekend of 9 & 10 January, 2016.  Both achieved some amazing results in the pool:-

  • Ben achieved 1st place in his 100m Freestyle with a PB; 50m Butterfly and 50m Breaststroke and also did a PB in his 100m Butterfly.
  • Imogen achieved a 7 second PB in her 50m Butterfly; a PB in her 50m Breaststroke and a PB in her 50m Backstroke. She also swam the 100m LC Freestyle event for the first time.

Another highlight was meeting the special guest, Olympian Geoff Huegill.
